we may receive during the course of running elections you may personally be
involved with and also to data we may collect from visitors to our public web

We do not share the information we gather from either our secure internet voting
site nor our public web site with any other party, outside electionz.com.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information which can be stored on your hard drive
(persistent cookies) or in memory (session cookies). The cookies we send to your
PC cannot read your hard drive or command your computer to perform any action.
We use Persistent cookies for tracking traffic patterns to and from our public website. For more information on the tracking we use, refer to the Google Analytics section below.
Google Analytics
electionz.com uses Google Analytics website measurement software to help
measure traffic patterns to, from, and within our public website. Note: we do
not include this measurement software on any secure Online Voting website. The
services are used to anonymously aggregate website statistics, such as number of
page views, the number of unique visitors, time spent on our site, when visitors
browser, and common entry and exit points into and from the website.
All information is aggregated by Google Analytics and provided to us to help us
better understand usage of our public website – no individual visitors are
identified. Google Analytics is a leader in the Internet industry and their
systems have been adopted as an accepted interactive measurement standard
amongst major Internet sites.

How does Google Analytics work?
Some of our public website pages are coded with a small piece of Google
Analytics code that is transparent to you when you read that page. These pieces
of code store cookies in your browser (if you have cookies enabled) which
contain unique identifiers to allow us to track the number of unique visitors to
the website. This information is collected and aggregated by Google Analytics
and in no way can you be identified personally and no personal information is
stored about you.
The Google Analytics code is not included on any of our secure Online Voting
screens.
Email address
If you belong to one of our client organisations, they may provide us with your
email address for us to advise you of information relating specifically, to an election
eg call for nominations, reminder to vote, etc. We will not use your email address
for any other purpose, nor make it available to any other party. Should you not
wish to receive further emails from us, there is a convenient unsubscribe facility within each
email we send you. We do however encourage you to participate in the election as your contribution is important.
Security of captured data and
client supplied data
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and ensure appropriate
use of any information, we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial
processes to protect the information we collect via our websites.
For example, when receiving voting information through our Online Voting
service, it is passed through a secure electionz.com server using
encryption technology to ensure that this information is protected when being
sent over the Internet.
Additionally, all stored customer information is protected from unauthorised
access through the use of secure passwords, user log-ons and other security
procedures.
